No single organization has all the components that are needed to move a research discovery into the market place as a product or service. BioAccel™ has recognized that a collaborative model through partnerships and alliances with other Arizona institutions is critical for mutual success. BioAccel™ interacts with Arizona's leading research hospitals and institutes to identify late-stage research projects that have commercial potential and to identify ways in which BioAccel™ can assist with the development of these technologies. BioAccel™ also works with groups that have complementary economic development programs such as the Greater Phoenix Economic Council (GPEC) and the Arizona Department of Commerce. Important to BioAccel's™ mission is to have a portfolio of relationships with Angel Investors, Corporate and Venture Capital groups to ensure downstream funding is available for companies that graduate from the BioAccel™ Commercialization Programs as well as other existing Arizona companies.
